Analytic Services is a not-for-profit institute based in Arlington, Virginia which provides analysis and studies in the areas of national security, homeland security, and public safety. Analytic Services was founded with the assistance of the RAND corporation in 1958 to provide services to the United States Air Force .
The institute's two main operating units are ANSER and the Homeland Security Institute.
